The Centerline Jacket is similar to the Track jacket but features fine finishing details. A zipper shield at the collar in trim color, as well as a fine bead zipper highlight on the back randonneur pocket featuring our embroidered logo. Lastly, the angled chest stripe has been made more trim, which combined with the contrasting mid-torso color presents a more powerful, streamlined core.

Layering wool increases loft and compounds warmth by trapping air within the fibres between the two layers. Our mid-weight jackets should be used in combination with our wool jerseys to increase rider comfort during cold weather. The double-layer of wool will maintain excellent moisture transfer, warmth and avoid sweat build-up that commonly plagues synthetic shells. All jackets feature a tall collar (+2.5cm/+1") and a randonneur zip pocket.

Double-layer use: Avg. comfort range +6C to +15C (54F to 90F)

Note: Our jackets perform superbly in light rain as wool stays warm when wet, but for heavy rain or extremely cold mountain descents we recommend using a compact wind/rain layer.

Our jackets are cut to be a second slim fitted cycling garment to layer over any of our jerseys. The jackets are slightly more roomy than the classic jersey fit. If you wish to wear it more casually, or with multiple layers below, we recommend to size up.

  • Measures (customizable by request):
    • Chest: Measure your chest first, across the nipples, under the arms and level around the back.
    • Front: From the suprasternal notch between the collar bones down the front to the bottom hem.
    • Hips: At the hip bend. True race fit ends here, but our jersey standard is cut a little longer.
    • Back: From C7, down the back to the bottom hem. Fr/Bk length measures exclude the collar height.
    • Arm: Tailor’s measure: From center back to shoulder, down the arm to just below the wrist.

Hand wash in cold water with minimal wool-safe soap. Squeeze out as much water as possible without wringing the garment. Lay flat to dry in a warm, dry place (preferred), or gently drape the garment from the center over a clothesline in the sun. Do NOT put it in the dryer. Note: Harsh sunlight will fade some colours over time as is common.

Refreshing your garment: Wool garments don't need to be washed after every single use because the wool's lanolin is bacteria resistant. Less washing is the most effective way to reduce associated environmental impacts of our clothing. Instead, hang your jersey in the gentle evening sun after your ride or refresh it after wearing by hanging it in a steamy bathroom. It will be surprisingly odour-free and ready for your next ride.

All of our products are customizable. Some frequent customization requests include made to measure sizing and changes in colour (at no additional cost). Other customization options available: change in zipper length (+10 EUR for full zipper), additional zippered pockets (additional cost), embroidery (additional cost). Please, send an email to custom@cimacoppi.cc if you have any questions.
